Molina Insurance??

Does anyone in here have Molina and what were your experiences with them regarding surgery.  My primary has submitted to my insurance wanting Lap Band, I have not heard yet offically, but the referral office, said it doesnt look good.  IF / WHEN I get denied..have any of you got and tips on appealing and what worked for you?  Thanks  Kim

I wish I had some helpful info for you but I dont..I used to have Molina (for 1 month) then I switched to Care Source because Molina sux (exscuse my language) and also I could find NO bariatric surgeon in my area that accepted Molina.   The 3 insurances that took over for medicaid are making it very difficult, if not impossible, to be approved for wls.  I am having major issues right now as Care Source will not tell me anything about how to be approved but I do know I need to be on a 9 month doctor supervised diet before they will consider it.
