Post op Insurance
Congratulations on a successful three months after your surgery.
It's a toss up on whether you'll be able to obtain private insurance. Most private insurers might consider your weight-loss surgery as a pre-existing condition and use it as a reason for denial. Some insurers might allow you to enroll in their plans, but they might impose waiting limitations. The best bet would be to contact the customer service department for the prospective insurance carrier for more information.
If you previously had insurance through an employer, you can consider COBRA coverage, which is basically a continuation plan of your previous insurance.
I hope I provided the information needed.
