What makes a person not a good candidate?

I just got my referral to see a bariatric surgeon and I am totally excited   .  I was reading posts this evening and now I am nervous.  What are the things that make a person not a good candidate for surgery?  After a brief fight with the doctor to get the referral, I don't want to hear the word "No".    I am they type of person who does not accept "no" for an answer, and always find a way to achieve what I want.  Any help is greatly appreciated.

I currently have binge eating disorder and was told it is a deal breaker for the surgery so i imagine anything like this would cateogrize you as a "bad candidate." 

Not sure of many others other than the obvious like drug addiction.

What exactly do you mean by heart condition? because i had a heart attack in 06 and had a stint put in...but i thought the whole purpose of WLS was to help get rid of all the health problems...i am on medication and have been told my heart is ok now by my Cardiologist. Would this problem make me a bad candidate for the surgery because i am really interested in the surgery. Thanks, Tina
