Had to appeal to my employeer

Okay.. I have been denied twice from BCBS/IL... Found out that my company only pays them to handle claims.  SOOO.. Had to appeal to my employeer.. My question is this.. When I received my letter from BCBS it mentioned something about a Civil Suit against my company if they deny me again.. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to do this IF I am denied again.. I pray that I will not be and that my company will take care of me.. BUT.. they are a very LARGE insurance provider and I am only a "little person" down below.. Any advice would help!! Hey! I reside in Marietta! I haven't heard anything about a civil suit. I also have BCBS/IL. I also work for an insurance company.HMMM ! lol Don't feel like your a little person. You pay for your insurance and they should be givng you the benefit that u pay for. Why were you denied? Is there an exclusion ? Is an atorney an option?

Hmmm.. That's definitly interesting.. the similarities of us!!  WLS was a covered benefit in 2006.  However,  in 2007 it would no longer be covered.  If we were in the process of meeting the criteria for it all we had to do was notify BCBS and all would be well.. YEAH RIGHT!!!  I sent them three letters in Nov and Dec of last year and sure enough all three were "LOST".  Now they have denied me twice due to that and I had to appeal to my employer.  I hope and pray that they turely do value their employees and will see how desperately I need this surgery.  I sent them everything from medical records to letters from several different doctors.   The think with BCBS is.. when they sent me my second denial letter it said that as long as I did not work for a non profit or government agency I could open a Civil suit against them.  I will definitly do that if they do not approve me.  But, I hope it does not get to that!!
