Sample Insurance Letters

Should I send a letter to my insurance agency along with my doctor's ?  I am looking to have a revision approved and was told that it would be difficult for them to approve it.  Should I send one?  If so do any of you guys have a sample you can send me?  Thanks a million.

If I remember correctly, you have posted on the DS forum, right?  If you are wondering all of the ins and outs on revision to a DS, you should ask Dawn (starry1st).  She is very nice and helpful.  She may even know of a sample letter for you.  My philosophy is bombard them with paper.  The more you give them to read, the more they see you aren't going away!!

No problem!  I am in the approval process of the DS myself, so I am not an expert on the subject.  But I have been researching it for months and have a lot of information on it on my profile, if you want to check it out.  There are a few sample letters there, too.  Not exactly for a revision, but some of the information may help you when you write your letter. 

I have been preparing for my appeal the entire time.  My insurance does not routinely cover the DS, so I am armed.  Sure enough, last week I was denied.  I will get to put all of this info to use myself here in a few weeks.
