Hello all, Gary can you help me?  I am in PA and I am having to self-pay which I am ok with....however I am worried that Keystone will deny if there are any complications in relation to the WLS.  I am have DS on Sept 24 (tentative date).  Keystone has an exclusion on ANY WLS and I was verbally told that any complications would not be covered also.

ANY THOUGHTS??????  THANKS!!

I am in the same boat.  Without an Act of God, or Act of Conscience by my employer and the Insurance company, I am looking at self-pay as well.  Already convinced that I am going to lose soooo much weight that I'll need plastic surgery I have been reviewing some of the issues surrounding it as well.   Since most PS is self-pay they (not exactly sure who 'they' are though) offer insurance policies to cover complications.  One posting I saw had the policy listed for $300, and others said that their surgeons just automatically added it to their bill.   Does anyone know if there is a policy like this available for the DS or other WLS?  and the cost? It would sure help to alleviate the complication concerns.
