Finally, Gastric ByPass Gets Postive Press!
I couldn't believe this as I was watching the local news. I had to record it and watch it again. Did they say there was documented proof that Weight Loss Surgery is a "Good Thing". They said with the results of this study it should prove once and for all this is not cosmetic and insurance companies SHOULD approve this surgery.
They said "Gastric By Pass" reduced the following:
Deaths from diabetes in the surgery group were dramatically cut by 92 percent
Death from cancer by 60 percent
Death from heart disease by 56 percent.
