BCBS PPO of IL

I was just wondering if anyone who has this insurance had a problem with them accepting the 6 month diet from a nutritionist that works with the surgeon's office??  That is who I will be going too, unless of course there have been problems with that. Thanks!

I have been going to the nutritionist at my surgeon's office for my 6 month supervised diet.  My info was submitted to BCBS of IL PPO on 8/3/07, I talked to cust serv on 8/8/07.  They told me that they were missing the 5 year history of morbid obesity and my psych eval.  I put in a call to the office manager to let them know what was missing, she hasn't called me back yet. The cust serv rep acted like that was all that was missing, so it sounds like they will accept my 6 month superivsed diet as is.  I sure hope so!!!  I will be waiting on pins and needles. Thanks!

My surgeon's office told me that when I start month 5 of the diet, to go ahead and get the 5 yr history from my dr sent in right away.  So I should be good to go. I'll keep my fingers crossed that you will be approved very soon!!
