I have been denied twice by CMR and am in the process of appeal with the board of trustees in my husbands union. I have Yet to receive a denial letter. Just denial over the phone. I have called numerous times and spoke to the so called supervisor with no responce. Does it matter that i don't have it in writing? My appeal process is already underway so should I still try to get the letters in case my appeal gets denied and i have to legally fight them? Thanks Darlene

If you can't get anyone to give it to you in writing call the insurance commissioner of your state. Ins co don't like it when they get pushed back. Good luck.  I had a problem getting my denial letter but after mentioning that I would call the IC they faxed it right over. Go figure. Patience
