medicare billing code for lap band "fill"

Hi , I have been looking on the Internet for Medicare billing code for lap band fills. Does anyone on this board know a current billing code that Medicare accept. My surgeon's office said that the code they have used doesn't work. Apparently S2083 isn't current. The below PDF says to use "unlisted procedure stomach,43999" instead. This seems current (spring 2007) according to Bulletin of The American College of Surgeons. I will keep looking. http://www.facs.org/ahp/pubs/tips/tips1206.pdf

Lap Band on 06/11/07

I don't know what the code is but i went in for a second fill today and was told medicare does'nt pay for fills anymore i just had one last week and had no problems now their telling me they don't pay for them anymore. Debbie
