Question about Documentation of Weight loss attempts

I am currently in my 6 month medically supervised diet where I have been weighing in at PCP office weekly, following WW eating plan (almost), taking adipex 37.5mg diet pills and increasing my activity levels, and having a nutritional consult at the beginning and another one next week at the end of the 6 months.  I have 3 weeks left.  My question is my insurance company wanted documentation of following a low calorie weight loss program like WEigh****chers.  I am a pharmacist so the meetings were just about out of the question, so I attempted to go for a while but I have continued to follow the plan and pay for my "monthly Pass" for them since feb and just recently paid for my last and final month.  My question is do you think that my pass cards with the dates on them will serve as documentation of the WW?  I have the little white weigh in book but I only went every other week for 8 wks then I have been 3 times since then but not since the first of June.  I hav been faithful about weighing in weekly and seeing my PCP monthly throughout the whole process.  I am just nervous about the Weigh****chers documentation!  I have Great West Healthcare and was denied in Feb.  I am 322 lbs and BMI 51 down from 354 lbs 5 months ago.  I just don't want to be denied again, especially after all this hassel and money I have spent for everything.  Thanks Amanda B

Amanda, I am not familiar with your insurance company, but I can tell you what my comapny accepted.   I turned in my little white book with a start to finish time of a little over 6 months.  I did not attend every week and I even missed about 3 weeks when I was on vacation.  I would think that your PCP paperwork would show that you were "steady at it" and were monitered during the 6 months. That, combined with your passes (or cancelled checks) would be more than enough. Again,  only my opinion, your milage may vary. Good luck Martha

Thanks Martha for a quick reply I thought about swinging in to WW again this week and then I would have at least weighed in once monthly sortof.  I hope this will be okay!!
