Medicare part a and b...how do you make sense of what is your insurance, etc.

Hi everyone!  I have medicare part a and b, and live in Harrisonburg, Virginia.  How do I find out if medicare will cover surgery...I am going to be going to UVA and start my process again, and am getting different ideas from the boards so far.....
