Medical Center Approval

Well it appears there is going to be one road block after another. Now it appears that the place I was going to have my surgery performed cannot perform the surgery because of my sleep apena. They can however perform it at the local hospital.

Here is the problem. The hospital is not an In-Network facility. The surgical center is an In-Network facility. I have talked to Aetna and they said I can request an approval for out of network hospital to be considered In-Network.

Has anyone done this? Is so can you give me any gudiance? I asked Aetna but they were of very little help.
