I was just reading on my documents from my insurance company and they list WLS for any reason as an exclusion.  I haven't even tried presenting my case yet.  Does this exclusion mean I am SOL?

Unfortunately, an exclusion such as this means that your insurance plan will not cover WLS for any reason.

Unfortunately, WLS exclusion rarely get overturned, but there is still hope. I know how hard paying for the surgery can be. When starting this journey, my husband and I discussed that we might have to pay for it ourselves if insurance wouldn't. There are several companies that will loan you money for WLS. The payment is about the same as a typical car payment, but isn't your health and happiness worth more than a car that will be good for 5-10 years?

If there is an exclusion in the policy, then your next step is to go to the company you work for and see if they will add a rider to your insurance policy.  Other than that, you'd need to get a job where the insurance they use does cover WLS. Best of luck.
