Help chosing an insurance company?
After a few years of doing research, I've decided that I want to see a surgeon and have WLS.
However neither my husband or myself have insurance through our jobs.
We live in California and are looking for the best company possible to use, since we will be getting insurance specifically for WLS.
Right now we are looking into Blue Cross as an option.
Does anybody have recomendations on who to possibly use or who to avoid?
Any help would be appreciated.

This is where people from this site post their reviews and personal experiences with insurance companies. Just select your state, and read the reviews....the insurance companies are all listed in alphabetical order.
Typically individual plans do not cover WLS... unless your state has a law stating they do... I use to work in insurance and know CA has a lot of laws other states dont... so I would check it out before choosing!
