Went back to my old job

Well, I used to work for UW Medicine Clinic and decided because there insurance went up and they put $75 deductibles on insurance that I would change jobs for better insurance. Went to Virginia Mason Medical Center. They have Premera Blue Cross. They all have a huge exclusion for weight loss surgery. This kills me. This is a company that is a Center of Excellence and does tons of weight loss surgeries for other people but there own insurance excludes it. I talked with the surgery dept and they stated it has been like that for years and they refuse to change it. There also was an morbidly obese employee that just recently died from obesity related comorbs that was denied for the surgery because of it. I  cannot work for hypocrites. So in light of UW increasing prices in insurance, they still have decided to keep the weight loss surgery in their policy. So alas, I am going back to them with my tail between my legs, but at least they care enough to keep the policy. I truly wonder if I could have taken Virginia Mason on appeal that they do the weight loss surgery in there hospital? What do  you all think? Paul? Gary?
