Insurance Question. Please Help!

I have United Health Care and I work for a company that has over 9,000 employees. A few months ago, my company changed the insurance policy so that it totally excluded WLS no matter what! Does anyone  know if there is still ANY hope for me? Has anyone ever heard of a company changing the policy back once they've excluded wls? I don't know if I should just try to wait it out..... Should I talk to HR? 

There is always hope... My company did exclude WLS about 2-3 years ago and then my surgeon went in and fought for WLS and showed the cost effectiveness etc. (we self-insure and have about over 10k employees) and then about a year ago they did revert back and now cover it. And then about 2 months ago they even did away with the 6 month diet requirement to make it a bit easier to qualify. I had prayed that this would all work out and Jesus had been wonderful. These changes happened even before I decided to have the surgery, but they are answered prayers just the same. We had no idea about the changes in april until two weeks ago! So there is always hope...
