AVMED - group insurance through UPS

Does anyone have this insurance, or are you familiar with this insurance?  My dad is considering WLS, so I wanted to find out if others were approved with this coverage.

Hi...I dont have that type of insurance but I am a UPS employee.  It took approximately 2 weeks for me to get approved for it.  I would think that all would approve if one does.  I am not an hourly employee I am in supervision but I dont think that would make any difference.  Anyway just wanted to give you that bit of information.  Good Luck to you and to your dad!!

Thanks.  That certainly helps.  Sounds like they may not have an exclusion.  I KNOW he'll meet medical necessity.
