Where do I go from here?

Well I went to my doctor.   My bood pressure was out of controll and I was sent to a heart Doctor.  They put me on medication and now everything is good to go with my blood pressure.   now I am at this point were I am not sure what to do from here.  Any help would be great.  My BMI is 54 and I have been overweight for at least 6+ years.   But I havent done the whole supervised weight loss program.  but I want to look into the Multidisciplinary Surgical Preparatory Regimen but not sure what this really means.   anyhelp please.   Thanks

Basically it means that your surgeon will have you looked at by a cardiologist, pulmonary doc, psychiatrist, nutritionist,  your pcp etc.. to make sure your full medical profile is obtained.

So my next step is finding a Surgeon?  then they will help with the rest?
