Tricare Prime in NYC

Looking to have surgery here in NYC and have Tricare Prime..but I am having trouble finding a surgeon that accepts Tricare here in NYC...if anyone can help recommend a surgeon I would appreciate that..So far the only surgeon I have found is Michel Gagner...are there any others?

I'll make some calls.  I know I do know people who had the DS with Dr. Gagner and he is supposed to be awesome.

You need to call Tricare and ask them who their prefered providers are.  They have certain surgeons that work directly with them and they have to refer you to them, usualy via your PCM.  Also Tricare does NOT cover the DS, only the RNY.

hi  why are you looking for  another surgeon dr gagner is    TOP OF THE LINE  ... nyph is the best hospital   his partner removed my gallbladder and no complication and i will be going for wls hopefully in april  with dr dakin   that group including the staff is the best ever
