GROUP HEALTH DENIAL HELP

I'm posting for a friend who was denied by GH. He did all he was suppose to, definately meets the requirements & was denied as almost all first time apps seem to be with GH. However, they are saying it is now excluded from the plan... Has anyone had this happen or had experience with it? What did you do? Thanks for any help! He really needs to have this surgery done.
