Nutritiontal Assessment Not Good Enough?
I called yesterday to Care Allies (medical management people for Medical Mutual) to see if they received the fax of my Nutritional Assessment (the one they never told me was a mandatory item to include in the original packet of information).
Yes, they received it, but it doesn't look like what they usually receive. They are looking for a letter from the dietician about followup after sugery. Then one of the nurses looked at it and said that it might be satisfactory.
What is this crap??? I think they are already thinking that this will be great for a second denial. First, they don't say anywhere that this is needed and deny the surgery and then they get the letter for an appeal and aren't sure if the t's are crossed and i's dotted the way they like them????
I read some of the posts on the other boards of people who just sailed through and think how lucky they are. Hang in there everyone!
