My temper is short!

Has anyone else been short tempered? I had an outing with some other women yesterday (2 I didn't know). One made an idioti****rue remark and I jumped her on it. I was smiling when I said what I did, but I was mad and wasn't going to take any more "sh.." from stupid people. I'm still upset. My DH said I have to stand up for what is right and I was within the bounds. (I'm 5 weeks out RNY)

Are any of you, dear friends, dealing with this or similiar? It seems I will have to stay within my own church family where everyone is loved and respected. Good grief.

Hugs,

Paul: it might as well have been WLS as when I told this woman (I'm bluntly honest) whom I just met I'd had WLS, she just looked at me with no comment. No, I came unglued at a political comment she made. Mercy, I better hide in the closet until I'm nicer. If I were reading this as someone else's post, I'd advise just staying away from this person.

Paul: Could be. Topics that raise hackles between friends need not be broached in social situations.

Love the blue face under the chair.
