Someone please help me!

This is what my letter reads............ Based on the information reviewed, we are pleased to inform you that coverage is available.  All covered charges are subject to screening for allowable charges.  The final allowable charge will be determinded when the bill is submitted and will be based  on the actual services provided. Does this mean I am approved????

I have a very similar letter from United Healthcare.  Both myself and my doctor were  told verbally that I was approved.  So I would say yes, you are approved.

It sounds like it to me but you should check with your sugeons office to be sure- they are probably familiar with the wording to your insurance company.  There has to be someone there that deals daily with ins companies.  Assk to speak to that person to get clarity.  Or you could call the insurance co and ask them. But it sounds like it to me! Congrats!

Hi. My letter said almost exactly the same thing & I was told I was approved. I think that is how they word it because they still review the bills they receive post-op to determine eligibility for payment. Congrats! Jenifer

Got my letter last week it was exactly the same and my surgery is next Tuesday. Tom
