CoreSourcePPO/Humana PPO

I need some help guys. I have heard some devastating news from several doctors offices, that CoreSourcePPO/Humana PPO does not pay for WLS. I am so dissappointed by this. I have filed my paperwork to the insurance but I am wondering if I should because I don't see the point if they will not pay. I have no other means to pay for the surgery. I really want to have it. Has anybody had any luck getting approval through them recently? What steps did you have to take? I really feel I need the surgery. I feel like I keep getting slammed up against the wall. I want it so badly.  PLEASE HELP WITH ANY INFORMATION YOU MAY HAVE BIG PIECES OR LITTLE. I'LL TAKE ANY ADVICE I CAN GET. ALSO LET ME KNOW WHICH DOCTORS REALLY PUSH AND FIGHT YOUR INSURANCE IN IL. You should be able to call the 800 number on insurance card and they should send you the portion of your policy that deals with WLS, or they will tell you it is an exclusion to your policy. Some people on this board have switched to other insurance carriers to have the surgery. I am not sure which ones, but you could browse through the older posts to obtain that information. Good luck.

I had CoureSource PPO and we switched this year...  They said that it was case by case basis and then changed their mind every five seconds... too much to go thru...  Now I have BCBS of IL and I hope the will be much better. GOOD LUCK
