Does anyone know about Medi-Cal insurance?

Hi, My husband is a full time student and we are using Medi-Cal in the process. Does anyone have any information on how they are to deal with? I don't have diabeites or hypertension. My BMI is 40.7, I'm 28 years old and I have cronic acid-reflux, joint pain, lower back pain, sleep problems and snoring (but not sleep apnea), foot pain and depression. Is anyone else dealing with Medi-Cal? I looked through the isurance directory and people were saying that Medi-Cal would pay- but it just had to be medicaly nessary. Are my problems big enough? Hello there... Well I have medi-cal also. I have been approved. Here are a few things i wanted to ask you. Do you have straight medi-cal, or is it another Group through medi-cal. For instance, I have medi-cal, but i have IEHP through medi-cal. I am also 28, and i was approved after they told me i'd need a 6 month medically supervised diet. I found an easier way then joining weigh****chers or something. someone on here had given me a form, i went to my doc's and he signed every form with no hesitation. I would look into what type of medi-cal you have, and then see what their requirements are for WLS. If you don't have too much wrong with you, but nothing is working for your WL, then you have a good shot at it. If you message me, i'd be more than happy to share that form with you, and hopefully help you out some! Talk to you soon,Stephanie

I have IEHP  through medi-cal also, but i was wondering about that form. Can you send me one because I have been dieting for almost a year now but very serious for the past six months and i have olny lost 9 lbs. I am so desparate. I am 27 5'5 and I weigh 244lbs. I have three kids and I can't even tie their shoes. It is a struggle just getting through the day at times.
