UHC/EPO

My information was sent to UHC on Friday for approval, so I decided to give them a  call today just to see if they received the info and the rep said they haven't received it yet???  I was a little confused because it was faxed to them.  The rep stated that they receive millions of pre-certs a day and it usually takes 2 weeks to get into their system.    Has anyone else had this issue with UHC?  How long does it usually take to receive an answer?  I spoke w/one person the other day just to make sure that there wasn't any new exclusions in our policy and there isn't, she even stated that it didn't look like I needed any type of approval just for the hospital stay which I didn't think sounded correct but anyway...I know I'm rushing things, only because I'm anxious and wanting an answer now!!  Please share any info that you may have.  Thanks!1
