What To Do In Texas
Help!
I'm in serious need of some help and advice here. I live in Texas and I'm on Medicare because of disability. I know Medicare will cover my surgery, but they only cover 80% and I already have thousands of dollars left over from all kinds of things I've had done this year. Does anyone know of either a good Medicare HMO I could switch to for next year, or just supplemental insurance to cover my copays? I am desperate here. I have my consultation with my surgeon on January 5th. Plus, I have to decide on rather to keep just regular Medicare or change to an HMO by the end of this month.
Please let me know if any of you are dealing with this same type of situation. I just don't know where I'm going to get the up front money even though I'm covered for the 80%.

you can get a medicare supplimental policy from most major insurance companies and if you are under 65 its usually pretty cheap they will cover the ded/co insurance medicare doesnt and the policy usually is that they pay on any medicare aproved charges so u dont have to worry about whats covered and whats not covered i would just call the different insurance companies and find out what they offer goodluck
