Explain complication coverage

My policy doesn't cover the actual surgery.  There is a statement that says it does cover complications due to uncovered procedures.  What do they consider complications and if for some reason my bypass were found to have a leak post op, would the second surgery be covered?  Thanks

this means that should you go ahead and pay out of pocket and then for example have to have your galbladder removed as a result they would cover that or anything else that arose as a result of the surgery that you chose to have even though it wasnt a covered benefit but you should clarify that with your insurance company because every company is different and most insurance companies will not cover any related services
