What Insurance should I choose?

I have until December 11th to pick a insurance company for WLS this coming year. I have each of the insurance companies booklets, and have seen which ones cover WLS and which one doesnt. Right now, it looks like Humana covers everything once the deductible is covered. The other choice is BCBS. Humana has the less expensive monthly premium, but havent heard many others talk about Humama being a good choice. Any input would be much appreciated.

Hi! I hope you get some responses to your question. I don't have any experience with Humana, but if they cover everything after the deductible I guess you could use a couple of factors to determine which one to choose. Look at what each insurance company requires for you to qualify in order to get approval and make sure you meet those requirements. If one has tougher requirements that may be a determining factor for you. I would also roughly figure out the actual cost that you will have to cover after the insurance pays, or what amount is the max out of pocket etc...  Then compare those cost side by side & include the difference in premiums. Hopefully this will help a little. Jenifer
