I got approved, but have a question..

Ok say I complete my preop testing and my surgeon gives me a date after the first of the year in 2007.  What if the insurance doesn't cover gastric bypass surgery in 2007.  Will my approval carry over or will I have done all of this to not have the procedure covered?  I sure hope I don't run into this hurdle.  Please tell me your experiences or share any of your insurance knowledge with me.  Thanks so much.  BTW I have NGS, Midland's Choice.

Have you called your insurance company... or spoken with your HR department at work to see if there are any changes scheduled for 2007?  They should be able to tell you specifically if there will be a problem. Congrats on getting approved! Pam
