Medicare

For those who have Medicare did you have to pay any out of pocket for the surgery? I'm under the understanding that they only pay for 80% of the surgery does anyone know if that's true. Thanks for any help.

Medicare does pay 80% but you have to pay the rest. If you are getting the lap band they pay for fills for three months as far as I understand. I have Medicare also and had a hard time finding a center of excellence.I hope this helps you.
