DENIED BY PRINCIPAL FINANCIAL

I just got my denial letter today.  They denied me due to an exclusion, which means I can't appeal.  My doctor's office told me this, as did the insurance company itself.  I am utterly devastated.  I can't afford an obesity lawyer.  I guess I'll just wait for the inevitable stroke or heart attack my doctor keeps telling me about.

There is a great website that helps with all kinds of situations like this. obesitylaw.com I am not sure what they will have to say exactly but I would check it out. It couldn't hurt. I will keep you in my prayers. Nicole

If you have not received one yet, ask for the denial in writing from your insurance company then post the exclusion they reference.  From my readings it can make a difference depending on the wording of the exclusion. Who is the insurance carrier and do you self pay or through an employer?
