GHI-FHP

Hello, I went to the drs today, and was told that as long as I lost weight next month, they would turn in the paperwork to my insurance co.  They asked me if my insurance co wanted a 6 month supervised weight loss program.  I'm not sure...was wondering if anyone on here has NY GHI-FHP-HMO...and what did you have to go through to be approved for WLS..thank you

I have NY GHI CBP-- with them I needed a 6 month medically supervised diet. I was told by my surgeon that GHI does require this, I would say to call them and ask them what is required and to have them send you a copy that way you know what you need to do.  My paperwork was submitted in Sept and I am waiting. Hope this helped.
