Lap-Band experimental appeal

Oops, just saw a post from last week addressing this same issue -- Thanks! Hi all, Has anyone successfully appealed a denial where the insurance carrier says the Lap-Band is experimental/investigational?  I’d would really appreciate any advice and suggestions.  I am preparing my appeal. I have a copy of a letter that was posted on this site regarding a LapBand appeal.  It appears to be a great letter with lots of research in it.  I have no idea if the person won the appeal or not.  I would be happy to e-mail it to you if you give me your e-mail address.
