I NEED YOUR HELP

I have Medi-Cal Kaiser, and I live in California.  I have been approved and have met the surgern.  I have been trying to lose 38 lbs for a year now.  I have lost 18 lbs 3 times and have gained it back 3 times, and now trying to lose it again.  I have 35 more to lose before Kaiser will do the surgery.  I have water retention and I do take a lasix for that.  I love kaiser.  I have been working on my head and why I eat for a year now.  I am ready.  I think this time trying to lose weight is hard due to my water retention.  I am posting to see if any of you have Medi-Cal in California, and what HMO do you have and what are the requirements for WLS. I hear you!  Been there, doing that!  That is why my pcp says the surgery is necessary for me.  He says that if we could lose the weight and keep it off we wouldn't be turning to this surgery.  I am on the six month dr supervised diet and have lost a total of three pounds in two months!  Hang in there!

Thank you Winnergirl, I am waiting on hearing from my surgern.  I have left him 2 messages, and still waiting.  I am not going to give up on this fight, but I sure feel like to sometimes.  I just wounder if I will ever be able to get my date? Lots of love
