Hi I am a disabled person with only Medicaid (for doctors visits /procedures) and Medicare for the Hospital coverage. I had the VSG on August 17th, after having to wait months for my Doc and Hosp to be a "Centers of Excellence". So far so good. The only bill I did receive is for my deductible. I am just posting because initially, with the 'new' rules on Medicare, I thought they would not cover the VSG, but I guess because of the way my Surgeon put in for it (maybe he told them because of my risk factors, he could only preform the surgery in a two stage operation, even though I really do not intend to have the second part)...it seems fine.
