Aetna

Hi,  I have Aetna POS II and they stink going for 2nd appea, have completed the 6mnth diet and excersie program through New Weigh in Houston , Tx and they are being so difficult. But I'm not gong to give up its time for open enrollment and I'm going to change over to United if I dont get the approval this time but still hoping for best.

I have Aetna PPO and have been informe it is a "direct exclusion" with the policy my company has.  Has anyone had any success in fighting a "direct exclusion?"

I'm in IL as well. My company had a rider added to our policy to cover WLS. They allow one surgery every 2 years which I thought was interesting. I spoke with my benefits manager and she did tell me that when they put the policy in place Aetna tried to "sneak it out" but that they had caught it and made sure they put it back in. I'm a little nervous myself about my IL Aetna policy.
