Need help with appeal for revision surgery

Can someone help with an appeal? I had Vertical Banded Gastroplasty ( stomach stapling and banding) in 1996. I have regained most of weight lost. I have been denied WLS " this person is not capable of sustained benefit from repeat bariatric procedure".... any help would be greatly appreciated.

That was an "old" surgery type. You need to argue 1. that it was a different type with lower success rates 2. that pretend you never had surgery in 1996 you'd be entitled to it now and 3. that you did not fail because you did not try. Gary Viscio www.obesitylawyers.com rny 7/1/03 -165
