I just had surgery thursday and I know I will not feel full since it is liquid going in.... my question is do I continue to eat popsicles to satisfy my body or do I ignore it and hope it goes away?? I eat broth jello and popsicles lol.... is that bad? I just need to know if i am going the right direction

I'd say at this point you need to be getting in the liquids so I'd continue with the popsicles, but make sure they are sugar free. Juice, clear of course is good as well. Eventually some of your cravings will go away once your body gets used to going without the higher carbs you may have been feeding it. Pam

I think you are doing a great job. I remember after surgery telling my husband that I felt like my new pouch was not hungry, but my old tummy was. It was a strange feeling. I agree with every one else about the sugar free liquids. Good luck to you and your success. Shelly J

Don't feel bad. I woke up hungry after my surgery. I have never felt sick. My hunger and taste buds have died over time. Initially I craved the same foods I liked from the past. Each time I had that food and it did not taste the same, I didn't want it any more. I am finally at the point where I don't care about food but it took a few weeks after my surgery.
