first time dieter
hey, whats up. i am a first time dieter, 18 year old male. i have no idea what is bad and what is good for me... maybe thats why i am 200 pounds overweight.
so heres my scenario: i have gave up cokes cold turkey, and will no longer even touch candy. thats where you guys come in, i have no idea what im spoused to eat, whats good, bad, any of that. so can you guys give me tips on what to eat and drink and snack on, and ofcourse how many times i should eat in a day.
Hi, Coy--You have made a really good start by eliminating the soft drinks and candy. Adding the exercise component to your life is extremely important. Ride a bike; take a hike; go to a gym and begin a weight lifting program. If you are able to get to meetings, Weigh****chers is a great program for learning how to eat the proper foods. Overeaters Anonymous is also a very good source of encouragement and information. I look forward to hearing that you are succeeding in your efforts.

I looked at your profile and it is wonderful you are doing the weight loss by diet..add a little swimming or whatever exercise you like..i swim cause it is less stress on my arthritis. Eat a lot of chicken and fish and avoid red meats except in moderation and ask Tooter on the main message board to add you to her bariactric bytes group..you get some really cool recipes!
