always hunger

I go to counseling for depression but Its not helping.I change meds and its not helping. I am always hunger and I give in to the hunger and I eat cramp like oatmeal cookies and cheese and crackers. I crave oatmeal pies all the time. I started exercising yesterday I did walk away the pounds to miles. I now weigh 132 and I am 5ft1/2in tall. I want to loose 10 more pounds. Does protein drinks help replace craving for food. My nutritionist said stop protein supplements when you are getting enough in food. Any words of advice would be great. 209/132/122

Evelyn, I have not had surgery yet..so please don't be upset that I can't give you any advice useful But I DO want to tell you I went to your Profile and was SO IMPRESSED with the fact that no matter what, you just keep the journal up and you tell us and yourself exactly what' happening. What a knock out thing you are doing! You are quite remarkable! What honesty Is there any sort of live people support group around there for you? It seems like that would help, even if it is not exactly a "bandster" group, just being around live folks sometimes seems to help! It looks to me like this board is not very active...which is rather unfortunate. Each WLS is like a huge severing of our special "comfort eating" which is what the ALWAYS HUNGER part is all about. It is the part that is scaring me about the WLS.

im so hungry all the time now. i think i have too much sugar in my system but I am real sad about it! I heard someone mention that it could also be a sign of an ulcer so I am going to talk to my doc about it. Maybe you should also? I wish you the best! Elizabeth M

I have been eating christmas cookies and I feel guilty all the time. I go to a counseling session the 13th of this month. Thank you for your support email me when you want to talk.

I get hungry when I am not drinking enough. You think it is hunger but your body might just wan****er. I never drink protein drinks, my Dr. says eat meat, meat, meat. I make homemade soup with stew meat in it. I feel so much better when I eat it. I make it real soupy. With Italian tomatoes. It is sooo good.
