I had surgery 13 months ago and stopped losing at least 6 months ago...I have found that the only things that I cannot eat are pork and broccoli, cauliflower and cabbage...I can have just about anything else...I stay away from high sugar foods too.  But I can eat just the way I did before in smaller portions. This has been very bad for me.  Has anyone joined weigh****chers and can it work?? I'm desperate...I want to lose more weight...
You have two choices you can laugh or you can    cry....what will it be???

About them I can´t say nothing but a friend of mine has taken a value slim diet program and it seems to be working for her. She says she notices the difference and that she is positively satisfied. Maybe that could be a hint for you girls as well..

I had the sleeve done 12/2/09.  I started out weighing 238 on my surgery date and now weigh 158 ish.  I am 8 lbs away from my goal.  I joined WW and have found out it helps a lot.  Even with my sleeve I was eating way more than what they allow with their points system.  I also like keeping track and feel like I will need to do this the rest of my life.  I still eat very few carbs but counting my points seems to help.  Also when I do walk 30 - 45 min a day I lose quicker its just that I don't have a lot of time!

I would seriously discourage you from going on a diet program. Most of these plans are what got us in trouble in the first place. I am a big supporter of Weigh****chers though, because it is a healthy eating lifestyle change - not a fad diet. I would assume your portions would be less, but they have great healthy recipes and advice for long-term success. Even though I just had surgery, I am keeping up with Weigh****chers as well. Good luck.
