I am 1 week post-op today. Physically I can honestly say I feel pretty good which is a HUGE difference in the way I felt the first 4-5 days. I really asked myself what the heck was I thinking! As gross as it is I have been drinking my protein drink religiously 2oz every 2 hours until my 50 oz of protein is in for the day with 1 oz of something on my liquid list in between. My question is am I to have more than 1 oz of something in between or can I have more. Like yogurt for instance is on my list but it doesnt say how much to have so I am having 1 oz.  I am scared to have too much but I feel maybe I am not having enough. If anyone can help me I would really appreciate it!!

I too have to choke down the protein....  As for the something in between I would call your Nutritionist or Dr.  I think all that depends on what kind of surgery you had and your Dr. instructions.  I am two weeks post op and I have had two oz meals three times per day in addition to my protein supplements since the day four after surgery.  I cannot drink anything for half an hour after each meal either.  You just dont want to hurt your pouch if you had RNY so be careful.

My nutritionist gave me the best tip ever since the protien shakes were so filling that I couldn't get more than an ounce down every few hours.

She told me to get ISOPURE zero carb drinks.
They are each 20 ounces of water-like liquid in grape, orange, and other flavors.
She had me mix half water with each bottle. So I can get 40 oz of liquid and 40 grams of protein each day from that alone.

I add some decaf tea and I am getting close to 64 oz of water. I don't know how I would have done it without this suggestion.  I am 2 1/2 weeks out and I still cannot eat more than an oz and a half of food for each meal. There is about 4-6 grams of protein in the food. Hardly enough to stay healthy.
