.
I am right there with you. I also am doing a pre-op diet through take shape for life program. I feel aweful except right after eating. I get to eat 5 meals through them and one lean meat and green meal. So I am pretty much eating every 2-3 hours but it is exteremly small meals (like I am sure the way it was suppose to be). I started only 5 days ago and I am promised by my personal coach (one comes with the program) that it will only last a few more days and I will go into "fat burning" stage and feel much better. Hang in there and dont forget your water.
I weighted in last night and lost 12 pounds in 2 weeks. 8.5 of them was from the take shape for life program. I still have 6 weeks till my bariatric classes are done and then the process starts for the surgery which can take a couple more months. I figured I better start doing the process of mourning food and going through all the emotions before surgery so it would be a little easier to go through the process after. It is tough and it has been crazy because I had to organize a mexican food potluck last sunday and that is my favorite food. However with lots of prayer I got through it. I really am happy I did because when I stepped on the scale last night it was worth it. I am starting to get more engery starting yesterday but now my sweet 5 year old is very sick and refuses to 3. so the activity around here is low key at the moment. It is baby steps baby steps. I love that I can eat ever 2-3 hours because then I know i will get food again and not to worry to hard. My coach (she is free with the program) promises that this week will be much easier since the major hard part is over. Praying????
God bless
