Worrying what if my surgery isn't working
I have lost about the same and had surgury Feb 11, I have lost an additional pound in the past two weeks. I was told not to worry. Dr says we aren't suppose to lose too much until at least the first fill. I am going crazy too so I started to go to the gym and go on the treadmill or elliptical. It helps me mentally. Good luck

I had surgery on Feb 18 and have lost about 27 pounds. I have been at the same weight for about 10 to 12 days. I'm afraid my surgery may not be working. Has anyone or is anyone else experiencing this? How do you deal? You haven't even healed from surgery yet. You aren't going to lose every single day. Seriously, you have to give this time.

Actually I am healed and doing 3 miles a dayAt a month post op your stomach is not healed. Doesn't matter which surgery you had, at a month post op you stomach is most certainly not healed.
You didn't gain this weight overnight, it's not going to go away overnight. It takes time.
I'll bet you that 99% of people between 3-4 weeks post op write the same exact post you have.
Hi i am 4 weeks & 2 day post-op i saw my surgeon yesterday & asked him same question you posted. He said depending on total amount you have to loose, will detrmine amount speed & amount you will loose. he told me in my case i need to loose 90lbs so the 1st month i should loose 20% of the 90lbs which is 18lbs ( i lost 17lbs) he said by 3 months i should be down 30lbs or 33lbs & 6 months 50lbs. so i wouldnt worry loosing it slower is better for you & it will give your skin more time to tighten. Best of Luck & relax & enjoy the new you =)
