Does anyone have suggestions for moving past a plateau?  I had VSG on 2/1; have been stalled at 40 lbs for 10 days now.

That isn't a stall, it is a normal part of weight loss.  A stall or plateau is usually about 30 days.

How many white carbs are you eating?

I have to eat 1 banana every day, due to a problem with potassium, discovered right before surgery.  Other than that, I'm eating mostly  protein...eggs, cottage cheese, lite yogurt, beans, shredded cheese, ground meat, fish, proteing shakes. I average 65 g of protein a day.   I've now increased my exercise by 10 min each day, and increased my water intake - maybe that will get my metabolism going.
As for a plateau being 30 days or more...I've never heard that before.  Now THAT would be upsetting!

How many carbs daily are you eating?  I'm assuming you track this??

Finally losing weight again!  46 pounds now.  My carb ntake is extremely low, less than 25/day.  I think the extra exercise every day got my metabolism going again.
