Weight Loss Trouble?

Hello,
I was not sure where to put this question so I thought maybe the place where many people look for help in things but anyways... I think I am at my "slope" I am no longer losing the amounts of weight I have been for the past 8 months after surgery. I am just curious if anyone knows if our weight loss is still more dramatic when we are really working harder for it. Basically after we hit our slope can we still lose a larger amount of weight with our diets than if we did not get the surgery. I am not sure if this is making much sense but I hope someone understands me and can possibly help.

Thank you so much. =)

I'm not sure what you mean by being at your "slope" other than at a slowdown.  I did continue to lose weight after it slowed down.  I lost pretty steadily until the 18 month mark.  But I also worked at it with exercise and being compliant with my foods.  I lost a total of 240.

Now that I'm four years out, I did put some weight on--not exercising and eating too much snack food--but find I can still lose weight if I do what I'm supposed to.  I've lost 9 of the 20 pounds I want to lose.   After a certain point, it really is just about dieting like most of the rest of the world have to.  But you have the added benefit of a pouch that works for you.

Good luck.

3 years after gastric bypass I was still carrying around 30 extra pounds.  I found Herbalife and it got me back on track.. I'm now down 6 more pounds after only a week, I don't feel hungry, I've replaced my morning coca cola with their herbal tea concentrate, and I feel so AWESOME!  I have hope again for actually reaching my goal weight!!  I LOVE the distributor I ordered from too!!!  they've been so helpful and there for me when I  had questions or just needed a little inspiration!  I order from them at www.jraymall.com

Try getting in with several support groups that meet face to face weekly in your area.  Sometime you feel more accountable to people you see face to face every week.  The other thing that has helped me start my weight loss journey is a meal service that delivers prepared meals to my door.  I am using Bandtastic Meals, they are designed specifically for weight loss surgery patients.  We had a tasting at one of the support groups I go to.  The meals are amazing, it is "real" food not cardboard diet food portion controlled and tasty.  See if that works.
