Does anyone else have such trouble with food?
I feel hardly ever hungry but I get jittery if I don`t eat. I did go crazy on carbs awhile back, crackers were all i would eat alot of, graham crackers and peanut butter but they got out of control so I stopped all crackers and cereals.
Someday I worry about my health.
You need to see a doc and nut. And maybe psych - to find out what it wrong.
You know that what you are doing is no good. Now - try to get help for that.
Start with getting more food in you - if solids do not agree with you - get the proteins, vits and nutrition in a shake. You can make the shakes with fruits and with milk - to add more nutrition to your body.
Go see a doc.

I am 2 years Feb 28. I have the same problems. I rarely have any appetite at all, most food repulses me. I know that most of this is a conditioned response. Before the surgery I had gastroparisis (basically my stomach died) and any thing I ate made me sick. Now even smells will set me off. I have gone 4-5 days without food and haven't given it any thought. However, my family has been a great support in helping me eat. I have difficulty with proteins (a hard boiled egg would kill me). We have chosen foods that will work for me (and don't gross me out). Fish cooked with fruit until the fish is flaky, special gourmet foods like spinach and goat cheese, and Quinoa (KEEN-wah) a high protein grain 24gr per ounce. I was afraid of the expense but since I don't eat that much it lasts a long time.
Part of my problem is the fear of gaining ANY weight at all. I know that so much of it is in my head but it is there and real to me so I have to find ways to deal with it. If I know that I only eat the healthiest of foods it helps.
