Takes less to feel full, but hungrier sooner...

I am almost 16 months out (RNY), and have noticed that when I eat I feel fuller faster, on less food, but am hungry within 2 hours.  Is that normal?  Has anyone else experienced this.  The scale has not moved for weeks as well...It's getting depressing.  Also my cravings and the need to eat i****ting me late at night before bed, and I have been giving in and although, I try to eat something healthy, I know it's not a good idea before bed.  Any suggestions?  Thanks in advance!

they actually just posted something similar to this on the main board.  Several people posted that it could be what you are eating.  If you are adding carbs to your meal, it could be the carbs that are doing it.  My doctor also said the same thing.  Try eating more protein and less carbs at your meals.  In otherwords - eat chicken and veggies, not chicken and potatoes.

Hi there, I have to agree with the previous post check your carb intake.  I recently noticed that I was getting hungry very often and the scales had completely stalled.  I started logging what I ate and saw that I was eating a lot of carbs, as soon as I returned to the protein first, veggies next routine my hunger left and the scales have started to move again.

I love my carbs but they don't love me.

Good luck.

It's not how many times you fall that matters, it's how many times you get back up
